Yolo County Elections to Resume Manual Tally for the 2020 General Election

November 17, 2020

The Yolo County Elections Office will resume the manual tally for the 2020 General Election beginning on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. The manual tally process validates the tabulation of ballots generated by the electronic voting equipment before certifying election results.

The Elections Office will be open to the public this weekend (Saturday, November 21, 2020 and Sunday, November 22, 2020), as staff continue working to complete the canvass.

The public is welcome to observe the canvass process. Interested parties must RSVP to elections@yolocounty.org. Please note, due to the spacing in our office we must limit the number of members of the public that would like to observe. Members of the public will be admitted as long as COVID-19 safety precautions (face coverings and social distancing) are adhered to and a COVID-19 waiver is signed.

We encourage Yolo County residents to connect with Yolo County ACE – Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Elections on Facebook: @YoloACE, Instagram: @YoloCoACE, and Twitter: @YoloCoACE to receive the most up to date election results as soon as they become available.
