PUBLIC NOTICE: Yolo County Publishes Final Election Administration Plan

Friday, March 1, 2024

Since the transition to the California Voter’s Choice Act (VCA) in 2022, the election office is required to develop an Election Administration Plan (EAP), which also includes an Election Security Plan and a Voter Education and Outreach Plan.

The Election Administration Plan is intended to provide transparency and inform voters on all aspects of the Voter’s Choice Act. This includes the vote-by-mail process, services and information available at Vote Center and Ballot Drop Box locations, and information specific to voters with disabilities and language minority voters.

The final Election Administration Plan for Yolo County has been accepted by the Secretary of State and is available for reading at the Yolo County Elections Office website:

The public comment period is closed for the current Election Administration Plan. However, feedback and recommendations may be submitted for future consideration. To submit feedback please email: [email protected].
