November 3, 2020 General Election Update – Manual Tally

October 29, 2020

The Yolo County Elections Office will select the voting precincts to be included in the one percent manual tally for the November 3, 2020 General Election in accordance with California Elections Code.

The manual tally process validates the tabulation of ballots generated by the electronic voting equipment before certifying election results. For each race not included in the one percent manual tally, an additional voting precinct with that contest will be tallied.

The public and media are invited to observe precinct selection and the manual tally. Please note, due to the spacing in our office we must limit the number of members of the public that would like to observe. Members of the public will be admitted as long as COVID-19 safety precautions (face coverings and social distancing) are adhered to. Any interested parties must RSVP to [email protected] by November 4, 2020. The selection will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Yolo County Elections Office (625 Court Street, Room B05, Woodland, CA). The manual tally will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020.
