Yolo County Reaches Highest Ever Voter Registration

October 23, 2020

Monday, October 19, 2020, was the last day to register to vote for the November 3, General Election.

As of Thursday, October 22, 2020, the number of Yolo County registered voters has now reached 118,879, a record number of registered voters for Yolo County. “Registration has increased by 3,619 registered voters, up from the 115,260 registered voters within the county as of October 5, 2020,” says Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters. Registration forms postmarked by Monday, October 19, 2020 are still coming into the Elections Office and we are still working to complete the official 15-day close of registration.

Conditional Voter Registration (CVR) also known as Same Day Voter Registration, has started. Eligible residents who missed the October 19, 2020 registration deadline may register or re-register and vote using the Conditional Voter Registration process. CVR is currently available at the Yolo County Elections Office and will be available at every Voter Assistance Center in Yolo County beginning on Saturday, October 31, 2020 through Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Voter Assistance Center locations are available via our website: https://www.yoloelections.org/voting/locations. We encourage voters that wish to vote in person to utilize early voting days to avoid long lines and crowds on Election Day.

We encourage Yolo County residents to connect with Yolo County ACE – Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Elections on Facebook: @YoloACE, Instagram: @YoloCoACE, and Twitter: @YoloCoACE to receive the most up to date information about the upcoming election and live election night results.
