Yolo County Voter Information Guide Update

As previously reported, two pages within the March 3, 2020 County Voter Information Guide contained incorrect information/dates. The impacted pages are “How to Cast your Vote” and “Voter Registration FAQ”.

The Yolo County Elections Office worked collaboratively with our printing vendor, Runbeck Election Services to quickly remedy the mistake and provide the correct information in an efficient and timely manner. A mailing with the correct 2020 Presidential Primary Election information was sent early this week to all Yolo County registered voters. The mailing included two replacement pages to insert into your copy of the County Voter Information Guide. Below is a sample image of a portion of the front of the mailer:

We are informing voters that the correct date for the Presidential Primary Election is Tuesday March 3, 2020. Regular voter registration for the 2020 March Presidential Primary Election ends February 18th, 2020. After that, voters may register or re-register and vote using the Conditional Voter Registration process. Conditional Voter Registration will be available from February 19th, 2020 through Election

Day at the Elections Office. On Election Day, Conditional Voter Registration will also be available at a satellite office located at the Memorial Union on the UC Davis campus and at every Yolo County polling place. Those voters requesting a Vote by Mail ballot must have their application submitted to the Elections Office by February 25, 2020.
