Yolo County Elections Update

The Elections Office completed the public manual tally of 1% of the Election Night precinct results on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. The counts balanced and there were no inconsistencies.

As of Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 3:48 p.m., unofficial updated Yolo County General Election results can be found on our website: https://www.yoloelections.org. Yolo County Elections anticipates providing official election results and certifying the 2020 General Election on Monday, November 30, 2020.  “I am extremely proud of the teamwork and leadership of staff, colleagues and the community that is helping us to conduct a successful election in the middle of a pandemic,” says Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters.

The number of ballots currently remaining to be processed is 1,740 conditional and provisional ballots and over 1,700 ballots that are still awaiting resolution of signature challenges countywide. Unsigned Ballot Statement or Signature Verification Statement must be completed and reach the Elections Office no later than Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

The Yolo County Elections Office will be closed Thursday, November 26, 2020 and Friday, November 27, 2020. The office will be open to the public on Saturday, November 28, 2020 and Sunday, November 29, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as staff work to resolve all provisional and conditional ballots and ballots that require further action (missing or challenged signatures).

The public is welcome to observe the canvass process. Interested parties must RSVP to [email protected]. Please note, due to the spacing in our office we must limit the number of members of the public that would like to observe. Members of the public will be admitted as long as COVID-19 safety precautions (face coverings and social distancing) are adhered to and a COVID-19 waiver is signed.
