Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Off at Libraries Available for March 3, 2020 Primary Election Beginning Monday February 10th

The Yolo County Elections office is partnering with the Yolo County Library and the Woodland Public Library to provide Vote by Mail ballot drop off locations for the upcoming March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary Election. Vote by Mail ballot drop off boxes at the libraries will be managed by authorized Yolo County Elections and Deputized Library staff, offering a convenient and secure option for Vote by Mail voters who choose not to use the post office to return their completed ballot.

“This election office and public library partnership was a tremendous success in 2018 and we are excited to offer this community-based service again in 2020,” says Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters.

Library Vote by Mail ballot drop off boxes will be available in the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento, Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, Winters Community Library, Esparto Regional Library and Woodland Public Library. Voters can drop off their completed Vote by Mail ballots beginning Monday, February 10th through Monday, March 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Please note, Vote by Mail ballot drop off boxes are only available during the libraries’ regular business hours.

Library Vote by Mail ballot drop off boxes offer voters another convenient way to return their ballots. Library staff will have limited information about the election, voting, and voter registration.
