Second Post-Election Night Ballot Count and Unofficial Election Result Update for the November 8, 2022 General Election

Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters Jesse Salinas announced the second post-Election Night ballot count and unofficial election result update for the November 8, 2022, General Election.

The most recent unofficial results for the November 8, 2022 General Election as of Friday, November 18, at 3:42 p.m. are available here: https://www.yoloelections.org/election-returns. Please note, election results are not final until the election is certified. All results posted until certification are unofficial results. The next unofficial election update will be Tuesday, November 22, by 5:00 p.m.

As of Tuesday, the Elections Office had processed 54,050 ballots, today’s update included an additional 11,445 ballots. The total number of ballots remaining to be processed during the canvass period is 3,995. A more detailed breakdown of the number of ballots remaining by ballot type is located here: https://www.yoloelections.org/election-returns/estimated-unprocessed-ballots-2022-general-election.

Please be advised, the number of ballots remaining to be processed are adjusted after each update. Estimates of unprocessed ballots are Countywide and are not currently available by jurisdiction as ballots are received and processed in batches from throughout the County.

Unsigned ballot and signature verification statements have been mailed to Yolo County voters whose signature on the vote by mail envelope was challenged by the Elections Office. Challenges occur when the envelope is missing a signature, or the signature does not match the one within the voter file. The Unsigned Ballot Statement and Signature Verification Statement forms are available below and must be returned to the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28.
